Pass the Snacks Geelong
Pass the Snacks Geelong provides food relief to kids and families in need during school holidays, when the safety net of school food programs (breakfast clubs and lunch programs) is unavailable. This need can be described as the 'holiday hunger gap'.
Our program provides food boxes to families in time for the school holidays, delivered direct to participating primary schools in the Geelong region prior to the end of term.
Presently, our program is entirely supported by the community through donations and by our volunteer Snack Squad who pack and deliver our holiday food relief boxes.
Since program launch in Term 1, 2024 over 800 food boxes have been distributed to kids and their families through eight participating primary schools.
Pass the Snacks is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
